For me, Walt Disney World has always been the consummate vacation fantasy product.
It is a man-made vacation destination that caters to every tourists whim from adventure to dining.
Whether or not you agree with this philosophy of entertainment, nobody in the world does it better.
As I continue to travel the world, its interesting to watch how some truly exotic locations are beginning to utilize Disney-like business plans.
I worked for Walt Disney's architectural department, WED Enterprises (now Walt Disney Imagineering), when I was first out of college.
Through constant expansion and diversification of specialty enterprises to other companies, Disney World has lost some of the personal touch it once had.
Still, I will keep returning....
Walt Disney World is kind of an example of the "ultimate" architectural project and will always hold special place in my heart.
